Songster Leader
Songster Leader Martin Hunt, the son of Salvation Army Officer parents, emigrated to the United States of America in 1994 following his graduation from City University, London, England with a Bachelor in Music Degree. Martin works for The Salvation Army USA Western Territorial Headquarters, as the Assistant to the Secretary for Program.
Martin has been involved in Salvation Army music leadership since the age of 15, when he served as the Singing Company Pianist and Assistant Y.P. Band Leader at Regent Hall Corps, London. He is an accomplished cornet soloist and pianist. Prior to his appointment as the Songster Leader in 1999 he served as the Tabernacle Singing Company Leader for four years.
