history
Since the early days of the The Salvation Army, music has played an important role in attracting people to the gospel message. The Pasadena Tabernacle Songsters (choir) can be heard presenting a musical message every Sunday as part of the worship service.

The Songsters come from various backgrounds but all share in this volunteer ministry. They are teachers, nurses, students, homemakers, computer specialists, business men and women, legal and financial professionals.

Under the leadership of Martin Hunt, the Songsters put their faith into action, as do Salvationists around the world, by demonstrating God’s love through meeting physical and spiritual needs.

The Songster recordings and musical ministry tours have been a source of blessing and encouragement to many. Whether singing in London’s Royal Albert Hall, the Crystal Cathedral, or at home on a Sunday morning at the corps, the Songsters proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ through musical praise.
